Harper Highlights Home of the Greyhounds December 19, 2024 Welcome Message from the Principal Greetings Harper Middle College families, I am honored and excited to join the Harper Middle College High School family as your principal. With 26 years of experience in education, I have a deep passion for fostering academic excellence and helping students thrive in and beyond the classroom. At Harper, I am committed to working collaboratively with our dedicated teachers, engaged parents, and the wider community to ensure every student reaches their full potential. Education is a shared responsibility, and together, we can create an environment where students are empowered to succeed academically, socially, and emotionally as high school and college students. My educational leadership philosophy is rooted in a holistic, student-centered approach that emphasizes academic achievement while nurturing students' skills and confidence to make a meaningful impact in their communities. As we embark on the second semester, I look forward to strengthening our partnerships, supporting our students and staff, and ensuring a successful end to the school year. Sign up ASAP! Also, we recently have added ALL students to the ACT Prep course in Edgenuity. The test is offered for juniors here at Harper coming up on March 18th. However, for any seniors/grade 13 who are looking to retake on your own time, you can take advantage of the ACT Prep resources being offered here as well.

Bank of America Student Leaders Program: Paid Intern...
Good morning Harper families! Check out this great opportunity from the Bank of America Student Leaders Program. This is an 8-week paid internship opportunity that prepares students to be leaders in their community through working with various organizations in the area. Bank of America is partnered with local non-profits and charities thorughout the U.S. that bring students in to learn through service. Accepted students will also attend the Student Leaders summit in Washington D.C. in July with airfare and accomodations provided by Bank of America. If you think you'd be a great fit, apply now!
